Nine Reasons Why I love HubPages

I've had four birthdays as a hubber now, and It's been over two years since I last wrote about why HubPages is the perfect writing site for me. Since then a couple more good writing sites have sprung up that I have written for, but HubPages has not yet been usurped by any of them as my my favorite place to write. Here are ten reasons I like HubPages even better than I did last year.

1. I can easily see how much I'm earning from my ads since I joined the HubPages ad program. As I see the dollars go up, I'm more motivated to get more hubs written so they will accumulate faster.
2. HubPages is a site for writers who just want to write and get read and get feedback from other hubbers. There are no gimmicks -- no monsters, points, quests, and other distractions.
3. I can write about any subject that interests me that is not illegal or immoral, but I can still write about what's fattening if I choose. I can find new ideas in the forums, questions to answer, and contests, but I never feel manipulated to write what headquarters wants written at the time.
4. Other hubbers are kind enough to read my work and comment on it.
5. If I have questions, there is a great learning center to help me. If I can't find an answer to my question in the resources provided on the site, I can ask a question in the questions section, or ask for help in the forums. So far I've found other hubbers very helpful.
6. HubPages is one of the few writing sites, if not the only one, that lets us upload video directly without having to go through some other site first, such as YouTube. That means we can have our videos only on HubPages and that will be the only place to see them.
7. HubPages has a variety of capsule types to help us make interesting hubs. If we need a map, we can include it. We can upload our own videos or embed them from other sites. We can display our photos in many different ways in the photo capsules. We can include quizzes and polls. Those writing about data can use table capsules. And those wanting to earn money can include ebay and Amazon capsules.
8. HubPages allows us to correct or update our hubs whenever necessary.
9. HubPages staff is always offering support in the background and thinking up new ideas to make us more successful and help us earn more.
